Istituto Tecnico Industriale

Istituto Tecnico Industriale

Designed by Arnaldo Fuzzi, the current Istituto Tecnico Industriale (Industrial Technical Institute) Giacomo Marconi was built between the late thirties and early forties of the twentieth century. Strongly desired to provide Forlì with an urban and extra-territorial school structure that could welcome 1,000 students, it was the only school in Italy that included Agricultural Technical Education classes. Still to this day, the travertine slabs alternating with brickwork highlight the three main bodies, that are now without columns and moulded crowning gables, marked by imposing pilasters, which vertically frame the windows unified into a single type.
