Forlì Grande Musica presents: "Genio e Gioventù" Festival 

Emilia Romagna Festival and Young Musicians European Orchestra present the Festival "Genio e Gioventù".
From 15 October to 17 December, the Festival Genio e Gioventù (Genius and Youth), organised by the Young Musicians European Orchestra, the Emilia Romagna Festival and the Municipality of Forlì as part of the "Forlì Grande Musica" project, returns to the Sala Sangiorgi of the Istituto Masini.
Very young and virtuoso musicians will perform classical repertoires of great appeal, also to a non-expert audience.
Programme:
Sunday 15 October:
Alban Lukaj (violin), Raffaella Cardaropoli (cello) and Piero Cinosi (piano)
Music by Brahms and Rachmaninov;
Sunday 19 November:
Lodovico Parravicini (violin) and Nicolò Parravicini (piano);
Sunday 26 November:
Federica Tranzillo (violin) and Lorenzo Pascucci (piano);
Sunday 17 December:
Martino Colombo (violin) and Daniele Lasta (piano).
Maestro Olmi announced an out-of-schedule event: on 12 November, the Young Musicians European Orchestra, as part of a project supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Defence, will perform Il Concerto in Rome to mark the 20th anniversary of the Nassirya massacre.
The programme will include Beethoven's 'Eroica' Symphony.
A special preview for the city of Forlì will be performed on Thursday 9 November in the Abbey of San Mercuriale.
Tickets for these concerts are priced at 1 euro and will be available at the Masini Institute.
