After the great success of 'The Art of Fashion. The age of dreams and revolutions. 1789-1968", from 23 September 2023 to 7 January 2024 the rooms of the Museo Civico San Domenico in Forlì will open to a legend of 20th century photography: Eve Arnold, the first woman, together with Inge Morath, to be part of the prestigious Magnum Photos agency in 1951.

Promoted by the Fondazione Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì, with the Municipality of Forlì, the exhibition "Eve Arnold. L'opera, 1950-1980" - curated by Monica Poggi - was born from the collaboration between the Forlì institution and CAMERA - Centro Italiano per la Fotografia, Turin, and is realised in agreement with Magnum Photos.

Over the years, film stars and divas, fashion shows and investigative reportages have passed in front of his lens, and his gaze is still current. This is why the exhibition is divided into a wide-ranging tour of 170 photographs: a true journey through the American photographer's production, also marked by the transition from black and white to colour shots. 

The exhibition is accompanied by the catalogue "Eve Arnold", published by Dario Cimorelli editore.
