After the great public participation in the first two experimental guided tours to discover Forlì's Monumental Cemetery, new appointments have arrived to discover its artistic treasures.

Every first Sunday of the month, the guides of Confguide Forlì-Cesena will lead visitors on a tour of the history of Forlì through the tombs of the illustrious personalities inside the Forlì Cemetery, which since 2023 has been recognised by the Emilia-Romagna Region as a place of historical, artistic and cultural importance. 

The first guided tours of the exhibition "All'ombra dei cipressi.La storia di Forlì attraverso i personaggi e gli artisti del Cimitero Monumentale" will be scheduled on Sunday 7 April, Sunday 5 May and Sunday 2 June. Each time, a different themed itinerary will be followed through the vicissitudes of ancient historical families, illustrious personalities and citizens, and important artistic testimonies. During the summer, evening itineraries in an evocative twilight setting will also be offered.

The first appointment, on Sunday 7 April, will focus on the illustrious personalities of the Risorgimento, and visitors will be accompanied by Chiara Macherozzi, one of the tourist guides specialised in the project.

• Second event on Sunday, May 5 with "Tombs of the Author: Monuments and Sculptures of Famous Artists," 10:30 a.m.

Participation in the visits is free of charge with compulsory booking until availability.

Visit starts at 10.30 a.m. Meeting point (15 minutes before) at the entrance to the Cemetery, Via Ravegnana 235.
