From Saturday Feb. 24 to Sunday, June 30, the San Domenico Civic Museum will host a new exhibition "Pre-Raphaelites. Modern Renaissance".

More than three hundred works including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and photographs will pay homage to the artists of the Pre-Raphaelite current, which developed in England in the second half of the 19th century. 

The unprecedented theme of the profound impact historical Italian art had on the Pre-Raphaelite art movement will be explored by placing Italian models alongside British works. 

The wide-ranging exhibition will feature the great names associated with the art movement, from Dante Gabriel Rossetti to British painters Ford Madox Brown and Frederic Leighton, along with works by late 19th-century Italian artists who were inspired by their British precursors.
